Music is a major part of our lives. It can be a determining part of our lives. For example: how we dress, who we hang out with, what we believe in etc. Music can inspire us and provoke feelings and emotions. It can bring back the fondest memories.
Design Brief
Design and create a compilation CD and Album artwork. The CD and artwork needs to be relative to a certain point in your life. You also need to design and create an advertisement to sell your CD to the public.
Limitations
The CD needs to be: Burnt on a CD in MP3/MP4 format Have a minimum of 8 songs from different artists One song must be made on Garage Band
The album cover must be composed of: a fold out of 6 panels song list on back
The advertisement needs to: advertise the CD
The advertisement can take any of the forms listed: A4 size poster t-shirt T.V advertisement

I understand that we have to make a cd with a minimun of 8 songs that will have to be put on the cd at once.
Statement of Intent
In this project I intend to make a compilation of music in a MP3/MP4 format as the new project. In this project we were told to make a CD with 8 songs on it. 1 of the songs had to be made on Garage Band and had to be our own. In this project I will put 7 songs of my choice on the CD and then leave the garage band song until the end. The songs will be from a range of genres. E.G: Rap, Hip Hop, R&B. We will have to download the songs off the internet and put them onto then CD. The CD must have a minimum of 3 genres. Also in this project we have to make a 6 panel book to go with the CD explaining what is on the CD. The panels will have to be made on Adobe Photoshop or any other program that is capable of making it. On the back of the 6 panels will have to be the song list. To go with the CD and the 6 panel cover will be an Advertisement. The advertisement will show the public what you are selling and how much it will cost. There are three choices when you are making your advertisement: T.V advertisement put a picture on a t-shirt or make an advertisement on an A4 piece of paper. This advertisement must attract the public to buy your product. The end product will be handed up to the teacher and presented to the class.
